Jane Danek of Princeton Presents Pentera Webinar on Bequests

Would you like to hear about bequests from an expert? Jane Danek, deputy director of gift planning at Princeton University, presents a Pentera Webinar on bequests at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Dec. 12).

Seats are still available for the Webinar titled "It's Only a Bequest? A Comprehensive Overview of Gift Planning's Most Important—And Overlooked—Gift." Topics include "what is a bequest," how to "make the ask," counting and crediting, documenting, marketing, and stewardship. You'll learn why Princeton emphasizes and celebrates bequest intentions across the spectrum of giving groups and how bequest cultivation can help you increase both current and deferred gifts.

Princeton is considered "the Gold Standard" when it comes to realized bequests, raising more dollars per donor than any of the Ivy League schools. Danek has been a front-line fundraiser in gift planning at Princeton for 14 years. She also manages all gifts of unusual assets and works on issues relating to charitable split-interest gifts and bequests.

Prior to becoming a gift planner at Princeton, she spent nearly 20 years in the trust/financial services industry—working with high-net-worth individuals and families. She is a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners Leadership Institute and also served on the advisory board of the Planned Giving Study that was initiated and funded by Pentera CEO Claudine Donikian.
