TV Segment Shows Pentera CEO Claudine Donikian Discussing Planned Giving Study
Pentera CEO Claudine Donikian was recently interviewed on a Massachusetts television station about The 2016 Planned Giving Study, and a video clip of the interview is now available here.
Ms. Donikian was in Worcester, Massachusetts, for a meeting of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Massachusetts. She has been touring the nation presenting findings and recommendations from the research she initiated and funded that was conducted by the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
Kathryn Andreoli, a reporter and news anchor for Charter TV3, conducted the interview. The novel research study analyzes actual data on planned gifts and donors from universities across the country. This unique data set includes information on planned gifts made from 1972 to 2015. Looking at these top programs helps us discover best practices that can be used to guide all types of planned giving programs at various organizations. The Worcester area has many large nonprofit institutions that are supported by planned giving, including colleges and universities, hospitals, and cultural institutions.
"Right here in Worcester there's UMass Medical, Clark University, College of the Holy Cross, and so many different nonprofits," Ms. Donikian said. "I know from personal knowledge that a lot of them do a really terrific job in planned giving. Worcester's doing it right."
