Pentera Webinar Presents New Research and Its Planned Giving Implications

New research about giving during the retirement years and its implications for planned giving will be presented in a sold-out Webinar July 25 by Pentera CEO Claudine Donikian and Debra Mesch of the Women’s Philanthropy Institute.

Retirement, Gender, and Philanthropy is an exclusive presentation from Pentera that takes an early look at the newest report from the Women’s Philanthropy Institute, How Men and Women Give Around Retirement.

Debra Mesch, director of the institute that is part of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, will present the key findings of the report. The study examines whether patterns of giving around retirement follow the same patterns as other types of spending, whether men and women give differently around retirement, and how households with different wealth or income levels approach retirement giving.

Claudine Donikian will then talk about the implications of the research and offer practical ideas to enhance planned giving strategies.

“We are pleased to again be partnering with the Lilly School to present important new research and its implications for planned giving,” Ms. Donikian said. “This ongoing academic research is crucial to our profession.”

Pentera initiated and funded The Planned Giving Study that was researched by the Lilly School. Ms. Donikian has been touring the nation presenting the findings and implications of that research.
